21 Down is back and bigger than ever!! The hugely successful party for GLBT people and their friends aged 21 years and younger is back for its second outing this Mardi Gras season. Last years lineup included Cosima (Australian Idol), Iota (Hedwig, Berlin and the Rocky Horror Show) and Shauna Jensen (Australia’s leading gay house diva). There were speeches by community icons like Australian High Court Justice Michael Kirby and 2-Day FM newsreader Geoff Fields.

The event is once again hosted by the wonderful, the gorgeous, the divine Courtney Act. In her second performance at 21 Down, hear an exclusive set from Mardi Gras DJ Sveta. This year’s line up is going to be massive so watch this space for further announcements. This a free event produced by ACON’s “Fun & Esteem” and “Ins and Outs” projects.

The winner of the 21Down Exclusive VIP Luxury Package will arrive at Slide in style, in a luxury limousine. They will then be greeted on the red carpet by some of our Special celebrity guests. They will receive an autographed photo of them and one of our celebrities to take home. The winner will then be given a VIP pass and escorted to the exclusive VIP area, where they can relax and meet and rub shoulders with all of the celebrity guests. They will also be provided with food and free soft drink for the entire afternoon.

For those who don’t win the 21Down Exclusive VIP luxury package, don’t worry. If you RSVP and arrive at Slide between 1pm and 1:30pm, you will still be given a VIP pass and will receive a photo of you with one of our celebrity guests to take home.

And for those who don’t arrive before 1:30, well… 21Down is still going to be amazing.
