Courtney’s Updates
I like doing things that are a bit out of the box, wearing womens clothes, 10 day silent meditation retreats, Burning Man, 7 day fasting retreats… and a bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles apparently. I have heard so many wonderful stories from friends about the AIDS Life Cycle experience and am really excited/scared.
So on June 5th I’ll be getting on my bike with over 3,000 Cyclists, Roadies and Virtual Cyclists and embark on a 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise funds for the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center. Two really amazing causes. That’s like a whole week of bike riding!
The services provided as a result of this event mean the world to those who receive them, and your support means the world to me.
We’re working together to make HIV/AIDS a thing of the past, which I really believe is possible in this generation. Will you support me by making a donation today?

7 years ago I went skiing in Canada right before our sold out Mardi Gras show opened in Sydney. I broke my leg and had to do the whole thing in a wheel chair. We spent most of what we would have made on couples therapy to stop Trevor from killing me. But we have the 7 year itch and we’re brining the show back in style – at the Sydney Opera House, The Powerhouse in Brissy and The GH in Melbs.
I promise not to engage in an adventure sports between now and Mardi Gras

The official info:
Screen sirens Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell had it all! They were glamorous, could belt out a tune and diamonds were their best friend. Fame, fortune and scores of suitors were inevitable. In the parallel universe of today the girls are still glamorous belters with a penchant for diamonds, but with one not-so-little difference: these two little girls from little rock are two little boys from Darlinghurst.
Mega-watt stars of Australian drag Courtney Act & Trevor Ashley once again team up in their seven year itch reunion tour and take on some of history’s greatest duos as only they can.
Don’t miss your chance to see this incredible show
PS Here is a video of me with a broken leg

Even though I had a successful Kickstarter, I guess I am still a woman of a certain era where crowdfunding still feels a bit crunchy sometimes. But it is 2015 and this is a new frontier and a new level of freedom in being an artist.

With Patreon I have more freedom to create smaller projects, rather than just one bit thing like Kaleidoscope was. Remixes, acoustic recordings, music videos. If you would like to support my creations you can on an ongoing basis, check it out and see what you think!

We are going to do something fun and intimate at Bardot on Friday the 17th of July!
I’m doing acoustic set with my guitarist of some of the tracks from Kaleidoscope. It’s free entry, 21+ (soz to the under 21’s). And doors open at 8:30pm (and this isn’t one of those 8:30pm that means I won’t go on till 1am, the whole night will be done and dusted by like 10pm… so… don’t be late!)
Can’t wait to see you all there!
