Mac have a long string of high profile Celebrity collaborators, starting way back at the companies inception with drag icon RuPaul. Others have included Elizabeth Taylor, Joan Colins, Heatherette, Fergie, Lil’Kim and many more.Dame Edna’s collection is packaged in the lilac tone we are so familiar with and embossed with those red glasses that we all know and love. There colours inspired by the gladioli, Edna’s favourite flora, and Kangarouge is reportedly one of her favorites in the collection. With a release date in North America scheduled for the 26th of December Dame Edna is sure to continue her role as our international spokes-person carrying on from where Baz Lurmans Australia recently left off.

RuPaul is back with a new reality TV show on MTV’s GLBT network Logo called RuPaul’s Drag Race! A TV drag competition where girls will battle it out over 6 one hour episodes to take the tiara. RuPaul will host and play coach to this gaggle of aspiring Super Models of The World…

RuPaul jokes, “Tell Tyra that the Queen has returned, and while you’re at it have Heidi clear the runway. I’m going to pump some ‘realness’ into reality. To be a winner on this show the contestants need to be a fashion designer, an American Idol, and a top model all rolled up into one. And they definitely have to be smarter than a fifth grader.”
